Animal Rights- continued

Last Friday I went to Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Resort in Sg Petani for Team Building. Personal view: the food was good. We had 2 games; golf & archery. The golf is cool after learning the tips from Tiger Woods of Sg Petani. Not easy to hit the golf ball but once you hit it right, you can feel a sense of high satisfaction. It is like releasing all the energy of work stress onto the golf ball and let if fly away from you. The achery game was so so only.
The most controversial activity that a few of us participated was horse riding. Are we helping the horses (making sure they still have an economic reason to stay alive and out from the barbeque pit) or are we torturing them further? A free horse is the one that can roam freely in the wild. That particular horse that I rode was Zorro. To fulfill my eagerness to try out the feeling of horse-riding, Zorro had to carry me around a full circle of the track on a hot shiny day.

Again, humans are smart: Use the animal as an economic tool to earn money. Give back some percentage to them by giving them a so called "expsensive factory processed food with multiple vitamins and nutrients". Promote to the public that this is a charity to the well being of the animal. If I were Zorro, I'm gonna say "F*** off. I don't need this charity. I was a free a man when I was in the wild". As what mentioned in my last blog, human rights will always surpass animal rights. We might think that setting up a zoo, build more universal studio, or maybe create a hotel for animals only will help to uphold their rights and give them a better life, but in actual fact we are just exploting them further for economic reason.
